Who came and who's late, without a notebook.

Staff open the app and tap Clock in while in the shop, and the app checks they're inside the branch's circle. You see who's in, late or absent today, and at month end each person's days, lateness and hours sit next to their salary.

Clock-in only works from inside the shop. The owner sets the allowed distance.

The problem

Staff say they arrived at 10, but the shop opened at 11. Anyone can write any time in the attendance notebook. And at month end, paying salaries, you can't remember who missed how many days.

Only from inside the shop

Clock-in works from the shop, not from home.

Stand in the shop once, save the branch location and pick the allowed distance. After that, a clock-in from too far away is refused, and the employee is told how many metres off they are. Clock-out works the same way.

Allowed distance (set by the owner)

Move Karim, change the allowed distance, and try to clock in. Illustrative place and numbers.

End of month

The whole month per employee, next to their salary.

Days in, absences, minutes late and hours worked add up by themselves. They show on the salary page for reference only; if you want a deduction, you add it by hand.

Inside

What you can do.

  • A clock in / out button on the employee's home screen
  • Location is checked against the branch, with an allowed distance from 50 to 500 m
  • Hours and working days per employee, with a grace period before lateness counts
  • A live Today screen: in, late, absent, day off
  • Month totals per employee: days in, absences, lateness, hours worked
  • Managers clock in staff without a login or who forgot, and fix times with a note

Under the hood

Details that matter.

1

Attendance never deducts by itself

Late and absent days show on the salary page for reference; you decide whether to deduct, by hand.

2

Every edit is logged

If a manager changes or deletes a record, the audit log keeps the before and after.

3

Shifts past midnight

If a shift ends after midnight, clock-out still counts toward the day it started, all on Cairo time.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What if someone has no login?

No. Lateness and absences show on the salary page for reference only; you add a deduction by hand if you want one.

The shop is in a mall and GPS is weak?
